.Uruguay - 20 and 50 Pesos Uruguayos Dated 2020 Polymer Series A

These are the two latest polymer notes issued by the Central Bank of Uruguay. Both notes are dated 2020 Series A issues. These are the third and fourth polymer notes issued by the central bank since 2017. In 2017, it issued a 50 pesos uruguayos polymer note commemorating the central bank's golden jubilee.
 
These two 2020 polymer notes are general circulating notes. 
 
The designs are almost the same as those paper banknotes issued prior to converting to the new polymer series.

Twenty Pesos Uruguayos
Front - Juan Zorilla De San Martin (b.1822-1931), a poet born in Montevideo.
Back - La Leyendo Patia (The Fatherland Legend), a poet by Juan Zorilla De San Martin in 1879, Allegoey of the Homeland legend.

Fifty Pesos Uruguayos
Front - Jose Pedro Varela (b.1845-1879), sociologist, journalist, politician.
Back - Monumenta A Jose Pedro Varela in Montevideo.

Twenty Pesos Uruguayos
Dated 2020, Juan Zorilla De San Martin (b.1822-1931)
Reverse - La Leyendo Patia (The Fartherland Legend)

Fifty Pesos Uruguayos

.Uruguay - 50 Peso Uruguayos 50th Anniversary of Banco Central del Uruguay (BCU) Dated 2017

A commemorative note of 50 Peso Uruguayos issued to celebrate the 50th year of the creation of Banco Central del Uruguay (Central Bank of Uruguay). The bank was first established on 06.07.1967 and it is located in the capital city of Montevideo. This note is printed on polymer material and this is the first polymer ever issued by the bank. A total of 10 million notes have been issued for this celebration.

On the front the anniversary logo is printed on the right hand side and the year date of 2017 (1967-2017) is located next to it. On the back, it depicts a street scene with a building and a bus in the form of a painting by both Walter Deliotti and Joaquîn Torres García. The design of the transparent window is in the shape of Uruguay. This note was issued on 14.09.2018 by the president of the central bank Mario Bergara.
