Two polymer notes of 500 and 5000 Vatu issued on 27.10.2017 and 28.07.2017 respectively. These are the final of the two polymer notes, since the country converted to Polymer banknotes in 2011.
The designs on the front of the notes are basically the same. However the designs on the back for both notes have changed from the previous paper banknotes. These notes bear the signatures of;-
Governor: Semion Malachi Athy;
Minister of Finance: Gaetan Pikioune
